Mission

In order to promote actively regionally environmental protection and occupational safety as well as hygiene for the development and exchange of the educational research, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology set the Technological Center of Environment & Safety based on “the set points of educational institute and their affiliated subsidiary bodies in small group of environmental protection announced by Ministry of Education, and Laws of Labor Safety and Hygiene, Organization management of Labor Safety and Hygiene as well as Schemes of Auto Inspection published by the Council of Labor Affairs (Hereinafter referred to as the Centre).

Job description

The main tasks of this center are as follows:

The planning, advocacy, consulting services and supervision of implementation in water pollution prevention and treatment, waste as well as toxic and radioactive chemicals on campus.
The planning, publicity, consulting services and implementation of campus laboratory, practical facility and safety and hygiene.
The coordination matters about hygiene of public drinking water between the faculty and students.
Campus safety and hygiene, advocacy, educational training and safe training related to environmental protection etc.
The exchanges and cooperation, the promotion of education and research development on regional environmental protection and occupational safety and hygiene.
The management issues of laboratory, practical facility, safety and hygiene and environmental protection and so on assigned by the superiors.
